The 'King of Nuts' is the almond. It is well known that almonds and the oil they produce enhance focus and fortify cognitive processes. Sugar almonds (Prunus dulcis) or Sky fruit is considered as an Ayurvedic medicine in most of India and south-east asian nations. Considering its benefits, it is used to manage high blood pressure and blood sugar levels. Most of the fruits dangle from the tree, but the sugar almond dangles upwards towards the sky, earning it the nickname "sky fruit." 

What is sugar almond?

Mahogany trees produce the fruit known as sugar almonds or sky fruit. After breaking it, the seeds that fall from inside are consumed. Sugar almonds have a substance called saponin, which is seen as advantageous for those with diabetes. Experts claim that saponin regulates blood sugar levels, boost immunity and regulate blood flow. It also has anti-inflammatory properties.

Sugar Almonds contain vitamins, fats, minerals, folic acid, carbohydrates, dietary fiber, fatty acids, natural proteins, enzymes and many other nutrients. Sugar almonds have a slightly bitter taste due to their alkaloid content. By consuming it, the pH level of the body remains under control. Flavonoids and magnesium are found in sugar almonds. This reduces the risk of heart health, coronary disease and strengthens the heart muscle and is a preventive measure against atherosclerosis. 

Anti-inflammatory properties are also found in sugar almonds.  Sweet almonds contain vitamin E, a natural antioxidant that slows down the aging of the body and keeps the skin, hair and nails in perfect condition (calorizator). Almonds are good for the female body, they reduce the negative signs of PMS and are the prevention of breast cancer.
Benefits of sugar almonds:
 
•    Consumption of sugar almonds is considered beneficial to control cholesterol levels.
•    Sugar almonds should be eaten to remove the problem of insomnia. 
•    Eat sky fruit or sugar almonds to improve blood flow in the body and strengthen immunity. 
•    If there is a problem of constipation, drinking sugar almond water is considered beneficial.
•    The use of sugar almond is considered beneficial in skin diseases. 
•    Sugar almonds are used to get rid of pain during periods.   
•    This fruit is rich in fiber, protein, which improves digestion. The benefits of sweet almonds extend even to pregnant women, and this is an indicator. Despite the fact that the calorie content of sweet almonds is quite high, obesity will not occur when consumed.
•    Brain activity from these nuts can improve significantly, so many doctors recommend that parents add a small amount of almonds to their children's breakfasts. Its combination with oatmeal will be especially useful, the child will have a lot of positive energy, which will be directed to gaining knowledge. How to consume sugar almonds?

Consuming sugar almonds in the morning is beneficial. Do not consume tea, coffee or any other thing for 1 hour after eating sugar almonds. Take sugar almonds and break them, the seeds visible inside can be consumed in powder form with lukewarm water. Grind the seeds well and keep them. Sugar almond powder can also be taken with milk. Keep its powder for constipation. Apart from sugar almonds, also add celery and black salt to the powder.   

         
Are there disadvantages of eating sugar almonds?

•    Excess intake of sugar almonds can damage the liver.
•    If you have recently had liver injury, then avoid consuming it.  
•    Some people may experience symptoms like nausea, vomiting after consuming sugar almonds. That too stop consuming it. 
•    In case of thyroid, liver disease, kidney disease, consume sugar almonds only on the advice of the doctor. 

Sugar almonds are beneficial for diabetes patients. However, limited research has been done on sugar almonds, so consume it only on the advice of your doctor.

Application of almonds:

Statistical analysis of the use of almonds shows that it has found its main use (up to 90%) in the food industry. Approximately 7% is used in medicine. Approximately 3% of nut production ends up in the technology of the cosmetology industry.

In medicine

The beauty nut is called almonds, which, thanks to vitamin E, help to preserve youth and beauty, protecting the cells of the body from aging. Warnings & Special Precautions:

Breast-feeding and pregnancy: There isn't enough trustworthy data to determine if ingesting sweet almonds while breast-feeding or pregnant is safe. Avoid usage to be on the safe side.

Diabetes: Some people's blood sugar levels may be lowered by sweet almonds. If you have diabetes and consume sweet almonds, be on the lookout for symptoms of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia) and closely check your blood sugar levels.

Surgery: In some people, sweet almonds may reduce blood sugar. In principle, sweet almond might affect how blood sugar is managed before, during, and after surgery. Stop using sweet almond at least two weeks in advance of the procedure.
